One hour minimum visit
A minimum visit of one hour is required for all on-site visits. I charge a nominal trip-charge, which I will waive if paid on the date of service. After the first hour, time is billed in 15-minute increments, at the regular rate. Should the initial problem take less than an hour to fix, other problems and maintenance can be addressed to fill out the hour.

Short phone calls encouraged
Phone calls lasting less than 15 minutes are not billed. By encouraging short informational calls I hope to prevent minor problems from turning into major issues, while fostering an open atmosphere.
